Dear Valued Customer,

During the recent volcanic ash disruptions, we were pleased to assist passengers whose plans for connecting flights had been affected. Now that aviation has returned to its normal operations, I would like to tell you about some exciting developments from Bahrain Air for this summer.

We plan to operate our largest summer programme ever, with up to 500 flights in each peak month across our network of 22 destinations. We launched flights to Bangladesh in March 2010 and Istanbul, Turkey starts on 23 June 2010. Bahrain International Airport continues to be the leading airport for connecting passengers in the region and we are focused on providing the best possible service for our customers in this regard.

The response to our decision to introduce complimentary meals in economy class and to also upgrade the Premium Class catering has been most rewarding. We will continue to monitor this service and will regularly adapt our menus to ensure complete customer satisfaction at all times.

Our Call Centre and Customer Care units have been expanded and now offer a 24 hour service each day. They provide information for reservations, flight and general enquiries and an after sales service. We would also like to thank our regular passengers for their continued support. We intend to introduce a Loyalty and Rewards Programme during October this year. Initially this will be directed at our Premium Class Customers, however we also plan to extend this to all Customers next year.

Bahrain Air is evaluating additional routes for our Winter Schedules as part of the controlled expansion of the airline. I will be writing to you further on this subject once our plans are finalized.
